We love fashion and food, so naturally dining out is one of our top things to do in London.
This city has so much to offer of both that we had  a hard time choosing, but we picked our top five based on the
all important criteria of ambience, food, seating and lighting… obviously...
We’re also familiar with those age old but yet so current questions like: What should I wear? What’s the vibe like?
So voila , here’s our little list to help you along the way to a happy date - whether it’s with your
other half or your best gal pal.
Hope you enjoy xx
Bocca Di Lupo - Soho

We have a thing for counter dining, it’s more relaxed and intimate which is always a plus when on a date, and  at BDL you get dinner and a show as you watch all the yummy food being prepared.
We recommend sharing, so you can order a variety of dishes from across Italy’s many different regions. But do save some room for dessert  and skip across the road to their gelato shop Gelupo and share some of the best gelato in London.

The Vibe

Down town cool  , we love wearing our v+v Long Flirt as a robe , it adds that wow factor without trying too hard.
Cecconi’s - Mayfair
This upscale Italian brasserie always has an air of glamor and a menu filled with all the Italian classics. Great for people watching all day long, and late night romantic dates seated in the seductive emerald coloured velvet booths...
Pop by pre or post an exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts across the road for the full on experience...

The Vibe

The fashion and art crowd.
We love wearing our long luxurious silks with a boho vibe, a cropped leather jacket and some sparkling flats gives the v+v Cannes Do a real fashion edge.
The Oak - Notting Hill

This old converted pub is a Notting Hill favourite , it has a laidback vibe and its Italian/ Spanish food never disappoints. Great for casual dates all year round and all week long. Best pizza in west London...

You can’t book but if you have to wait ,  don’t despair instead rejoice and head to their cocktail bar upstairs, its so seductive and sexy that you might just decide to stay there sipping on delicious cocktails and nibbling on amazing tapas all night…

The Vibe

We love the West London vibe, it’s laid back yet playful - anything goes with the right attitude. Wear high waisted jeans a thin sweater and throw on your v+v long printed silk and you’re ready to go anywhere day to night...
Opera Tavern - Covent Garden

Located right in the heart of Londons theatre district, this place is great for a pre or post theatre date or just those lazy Saturday afternoons that rolls in to evenings...
We love sitting at the wooden counter (obviously) , chatting to their very knowledgeable and attentive bar staff.  They serve fantastic wine and Spanish style tapas food - we especially love their  Mini Ibérico Pork and Foie Gras Burger - but get a double portion to keep the peace…

The Vibe

It’s very relaxed and eclectic due to its location, you get locals , theatre goers and tourists alike. We love wearing versatile dresses that takes you from day to night as you never know where the night
might lead you.
The River Café - Hammersmith

Best meal in town , hands down - well deserving of its long standing Michelin star, that combined with it’s attentive staff sets it apart from anything else in London. Slightly off the beaten track but always fully booked - it’s great for lunch and dinner dates alike.
It’s not cheap but its an unique foodie experience, so come hungry - we recommend everything!

The vibe

The clientele is very eclectic and mostly dressed very understated, think lunch or dinner with the in laws.  We wear the v+v Mini Darling with flat boots for a pulled together yet casual butter wouldn’t melt kinda look...
